Band Collab w/ Codespeaker

For our March band collaboration, we had the pleasure of inviting the incredible Codespeaker down to brew with us. Hailing from Edinburgh, this bruising post metal band first caught my ears while on tour with Hundred Year Old Man but cemented a friendship hanging out in the merch tent at Damnation Festival 2025.

For this beer, we have gone dark and hoppy with a classic Black IPA, a style not often brewed but absolutely delicious in my opinion. Dark malts in the mash create the base colour and flavour for the upcoming beer. Cascade and Simcoe whole leaf in the boil set the bitterness levels to counteract the malt sweetness, with Strata Cryo and Amarillo T90 adding a dank, weedy, orange finish.
